The Lasqueti Island Local Trust Committee voted to ask staff about the potential and process for rescinding its earlier resolution to proceed no further with a land-use bylaw amendment application concerning a dock. [1]
The motion followed a town hall discussion about the dock and enforcement; the chair said there was no current enforcement action because the owner had agreed to remove it. [1]
During the discussion, committee members said the application had not advanced to first reading and that enforcement had resumed after the committee voted not to continue the application. [1]
