The Lasqueti Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to report on how members of the media should be identified in regular meeting minutes, after a Town Hall discussion about the previous minutes’ attendance record.[1]
The October 23 minutes say a member of the public noted that the previous minutes recorded no media attendance, although one local media member had attended; Trustee Peterson offered to seek clarity on the Islands Trust policy and criteria for identifying media representatives.[1]
The committee passed a motion requesting the staff report.[1]
